New Site Allows MTs to Market Themselves
A new community Web site is focused on helping consumers improve their health habits. Among its lifestyle-related offerings, the site offers listings of local wellness resources, including massage therapists and spas.
Other offerings on the site include tips on healthy eating, relaxation and exercise; and coaching and support to stay motivated toward goals.
“Wellsphere (www.wellsphere.com) is an online wellness community where people can share personal experiences and knowledge to help one another improve their well-being,” said Ron Gutman, CEO and co-founder of Wellsphere, in a company press release
Wellsphere lets people:
• Create a personal profile about their wellness goals and activities, or about their expertise that can be helpful to others.
• Create ‘Wellspheres’ to share progress toward wellness goals, or share advice, tips and personal success stories to help others achieve their goals.
• Find and connect with local activity and support partners—from running buddies to yoga partners to diet-discussion groups.
• Find local wellness resources, including biking and hiking trails, massage therapists, personal trainers, nutritionists, gyms, yoga studios, spas, and healthy menu items at local restaurants.
• Read advice, tips, ideas and reviews written by real people, and share opinions with others.
• Be part of a fun community of positive people helping each other to live healthier, happier lives. |
