What was the most interesting or challenging locale you've worked in, and why?

R E A D E R  E X P R E S S I O N S

We Asked: If you could give a massage to any historical figure, who would you pick, and why?

Here is what you told us...

I would give Jesus of Nazareth a massage, because he was the ultimate healer and healed many with his love. I would want to give something back to him for what he's done for us. As far as what technique to use, I think I'd give him a Watsu treatment so I could be closer and connected to his breath and heart rhythms.
D. Johnson
Staten Island, New York

I would pick Adolf Hitler. If ever there was a human in need of healing touch, it was that man. I like to think that millions of other humans would have been spared the horrors they endured. Massage: A powerful, positive modality that helps to bring about inner peace - could it have overcome such evil? We will never know.
Laurie Austin-Michaud
Valatie, New York

He’s not historical yet, but I would probably say President George Bush, because he needs it more than anybody; he needs the compassion and humanity that massage offers.
Bernadine Rosso
Aptos, California

I would pick Mother Theresa because of her huge work for humanity. She spent her entire life serving humanity, and I would've liked to serve her in that way.
Valoree Gift
Cannon Beach, Oregon

Humbly, I would pick Jesus Christ. It is not Jesus who needs the healing, it is I. It would be a very deep honor to touch the great history teacher. I know that the massage therapist would definitely get jolted with some juice. As I travel with my massage chair and table with my donkey, I pray that I may be called and picked to massage the Christ. I would discover new meaning to life and secrets about our holy temple we live in, which would bring good traffic to my business.
John O'Grady
Congers, New York

Franklin D. Roosevelt. For one, he was president for 16 years, and he suffered from polio, so the guy definitely had problems with muscle atrophy.
Rosie Burleson
Ann Arbor, Michigan
