Asked: Who
inspires you, and why?
Here
is what you told us...
Although
I lost my mom to lung cancer a few years ago, she still continues
to inspire me. I inherited her good work ethic and her compassion
to take care of those around her. I still run into people who talk
highly of her and say how much I remind them of her. That is such
a compliment.

The
people who have, and continue, to inspire me are my parents, who
live what they taught: “Always do the right thing,”
and “You have to be accountable.”
Diana Childers

My
family. They are always there for me. My husband always points out
what I’ve been too frazzled to see, and my boys are so down-to-Earth
and innocent that they always inspire me.

My
clients are my best inspiration. They constantly inspire me to do
my absolute best. And because they ask about other modalities, this
inspires me to learn more and find out if other modalities will
fit my clientele.

The
world of living beings inspires me to realize our quantum connection
and how important is each action I perform.
Joe Cartwright

My
inspiration comes from the people I care for. When I touch someone
and the stress of their world melts away beneath my touch, that
feeling inspires me to learn more and do more for everyone. People
bear the burdens of their worlds in their muscle tissues, so the
concept of rubbing that away thrills me unlike anything else ever
has.

What inspires me is to know that I am healthy, peaceful
and loved. To not forget that I have been on the other side of the
road and know that it is possible to see and feel the light at the
end of the tunnel, both spiritually and mentally. To see the good
in all human beings and contribute to create more peace and unity
in all of us by just being positive and being myself.

My wife, Sara, inspires me—because no matter
what the challenge, she handles it with dignity, patience and perseverance

My mother, Linda, was a nurse for over 20 years
on the oncology floor. Her genuine compassion was felt by her patients
and co-workers. She is the reason that I went into the massage-therapy
field, and she was great support during my education. I strive to
have the same reputation in my life and career.
