Self-Care tip of the week

Cloudy Better in Fruit Juice

A new study finds that juice that has not been filtered of all of its pulp may be better for you. Both clear and cloudy apple juice from two kinds of apples was examined for the study. Scientists found that the cloudy juice, which was made from unpeeled fruit and did not have its excess pulp discarded, had higher levels for fiber and antioxidants. Antioxidant rates were 50 to 80 percent higher in the cloudy juice than in the clear juice.
