Self-Care tip of the week

Don’t let your hair affect good body mechanics

Hair control can make all the difference in the world when it comes to body mechanics. Make sure your hair does not distract you while working. Keep your hair out of your face and prevent it from hanging down in front of you. Many manual therapists are not aware of how distracting their hair is until they find themselves holding their head to one side in order to keep it out of their face. Can you imagine how this would affect the neck and back?
