Cortiva Acquires Second Arizona
School
Cortiva Institute has purchased the Phoenix Therapeutic
Massage College, which has campuses in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona.
In 2005, the education company purchased the Desert Institute of
the Healing Arts in Tucson.
The latest acquisition brings Cortiva’s
massage-school property holdings to 13. The company also owns schools
in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Illinois, Colorado, Washington
and Massachusetts.
Cortiva offers professional training courses
in massage therapy and, in Scottsdale, personal-fitness training.
Cortiva has also partnered with eCornell, an online division of
Cornell University’s Graduate School of Management, School
of Hotel Administration, and School of Industrial and Labor Relations,
to offer marketing and business courses. |
