Case-Report Contest Announced

Massage-therapy students and their educational advisors can help advance massage research, thanks to an annual national contest.

The Massage Therapy Foundation announced its 2007 Student Case Report Contest guidelines in early August.

The foundation presents cash awards for the annual recipients of the grand ($2,500), second place ($2,000) and third place ($1,500) categories. All three recipients’ case reports will be published on the Massage Therapy Foundation’s Web site; recipients and advisors are invited to present their case reports at the American Massage Therapy Association annual national convention, and receive additional valuable prizes.

The foundation promotes research, community service and education in the field of therapeutic massage and bodywork.
