Cortiva Offers Free Classes

The Cortiva Institute operates 13 massage schools nationwide. Now the company offers free workshops to all credentialed massage therapists.

“It’s a way of us giving back to the community,” said Cortiva Chairman and CEO Alan Clingman. “We’re trying to sort of raise standards and spread education.”

The classes are:

“Correcting Low Back Pain,” presented by Robert K. King, founder of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy;

“The Basics of Pregnancy Massage,” presented by pregnancy-massage specialist Michelle Kolakowski;

“Clinical Massage for Athletics, presented by Brenneke School of Massage Sports Program Director Pat Archer; and
