Fitness Firm Starts Massage Franchise

Fitness Together, a personal-training company with more than 175 franchises, has launched a massage-therapy franchise firm, Elements Therapeutic Massage Corporation.

“Elements was established in response to the growing demand for massage services across the country,” said Scott Wendrych, Elements’ president, in a press release.

The company, which is based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, plans to open more than 50 locations by the end of 2007, and 400 locations by 2011.

Each Elements’ location will provide Swedish, hot-stone, deep-tissue, sports and pregnancy massage, and neuromuscular and trigger-point therapy by appointment or walk-in service, seven days per week, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. A 55-minute massage costs $55; an 80-minute massage, $80.
