Practice-Success Web Site for
Massage Students Launched

The Doyle Group, publisher of MASSAGE and Chiropractic Economics magazines, has launched a new Web site, futureLMT.com, as a resource for career planning and practice startup.

"Many graduates enter the massage field with abundant clinical information but lack the skills to manage a business successfully,” said Amy Mitchell, online editor of futurelmt.com and massagemag.com. “Our goal is to provide them with the practical knowledge they need to succeed in practice.”

Several new practitioners have already benefited from futurelmt.com. Two features that have received especially positive feedback are the Online Resource links, which are hand-picked by the editors, and the Success Checklists, which list career-development activities to complete at each stage in the academic program.

Futurelmt.com provides advice on goal-setting, finances, job-interviewing, marketing, business setup and building clientele. Site visitors can continue to receive new, updated content by subscribing to a free, bi-monthly newsletter available in print, online, and in PDF (portable document format). Newsletter author Cherie Sohnen-Moe, is a business coach, international workshop leader, successful business owner since 1978, and frequent contributor to MASSAGE Magazine.
