FDA Comment Deadline Extended

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has extended the deadline for public comments on the its Guidance for Industry on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Products and Their Regulation by the Food and Drug Administration.

The new deadline is May 29.

The FDA guide addresses products commonly used in massage and bodywork, including lubricants and handheld tools. Also at risk of FDA regulation are other complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) products, including supplements such as vitamins, minerals and herbs.
