Aromatherapy Discussions Offered Online

Whether in lotion, through a diffuser or from straight essential oils, many massage therapists include aromatherapy in their massage sessions—and research has shown benefits of the therapy (www.massagemag.com/Magazine/2007/issue131/Aromatherapy.php). Now, a personal-care product company has put its resident aromatherapy expert online for live chats.

Tim Blakley is an aromatherapy trainer for Aura Cacia, a company that sells personal-care products. He has been involved with herbs and aromatherapy for more than a quarter century.

The chats are designed to provide how-to information and interactive discussion of a variety of aromatherapy topics, according to a company press release.

The first chat took place Nov. 15. The next chat, titled "Reduce Holiday Stress with Aromatherapy," takes place Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. CST.
