Cortiva to Close Colorado Campus

Due to problems with its lease, the Cortiva Institute—Colorado is no longer enrolling new students and will close at the end of the year.
"Due to an untenable situation with the lease, we had no choice but to discontinue operations," Cortiva Director of Marketing Fernando Lopez told MASSAGE Magazine. "Most of the students will graduate from the campus this calendar year, and those that will not have transferred to one of the other excellent massage-therapy schools in the area.
"We feel that the Denver market is a great one and we hope to re-open there at some point in the future," he added.
Cortiva is an education company with additional massage schools in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Washington.
