George Goodheart, Kinesiology Pioneer, 1919-2008

A pioneer in the area of kinesiology, George J. Goodheart, died March 5 at the age of 89. The death was reported on in a March 7 article in the Detroit Free Press newspaper.

Louisiana Adopts New Licensing Exam

The Louisiana Board of Massage Therapy voted in late February to adopt the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), the exam created by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards. FSMTB President Debra Persinger announced the adoption to MASSAGE Magazine on March 6.
