Massage therapist Sue Kent has won a spot on the British Paralympics health-care team.

She was profiled this week in an article in the British newspaper The Daily Mail. The Paralympics take place this summer in London.

Kent, who was born with severely shortened limbs after her mother took morning-sickness drug Thalidomide while pregnant, works on her clients with her feet instead of

with her hands.

Of her decision to apply for the Paralympics team, Kent said, ""I hope I inspire other disabled people and show that they don't need to do a job that's just about sitting behind a desk with a computer.

"'I also wanted to raise the profiles of disabilities in a different way—the more people see disability, the more normal it becomes and the less people will be stupid.'"
