HOLBROOK, N.Y., Feb. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Precision Marketing Solutions Inc. has launched FoamRollers.com. The new website features a variety of foam rollers designed for myofascial release. Performed both before and after exercising, myofascial release facilitates peak performance, quick recovery and pain-free exercise. Foam rollers have become a standard part of core conditioning, strength training, balance development, yoga, Pilates and are even featured prominently on the recently released P90X2 DVD exercise series.

"Foam rollers can make workouts more productive, efficient and enjoyable, yet sports enthusiasts are only now beginning to realize the benefits of myofascial release," said FoamRollers.com president and CEO Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds. "Our goal is to get a foam roller into the hands of everyone who exercises regularly or is looking to optimize their health in 2012."

Foam rollers come in a variety of sizes and densities, ranging from soft to firm and generally retail for $20 to $30. They can be used effectively to stretch soft

tissue (muscle and fascia) in virtually every part of the body. Runners often use foam rollers on their hamstrings, calves, quads, lower back and hip flexors. Yoga and Pilates instructors routinely incorporate foam rolling into their classes, with many clubs supplying foam rollers to participants.

Fitness experts and physical therapists suggest using a foam roller several times a week and daily for those who exercise every day. A foam roller is used most effectively in conjunction with your own body weight by lying on the foam roller with the affected muscles directly on top of the roller. Experts suggest slowly rolling back and forth across any painful or stiff area, spending extra time directly over the knot or trigger point itself. Stretching the area following foam rolling is critical to muscle repair, as is drinking plenty of water following a foam-rolling session.

FoamRollers.com is owned and operated by Precision Marketing Solutions Inc., a Long Island, New York-based corporation operating high-traffic websites in a variety of markets.
