Massage therapy was shown to increase the variability of plantar pressure and positively affect gait, in terms of velocity and fluidity, in a patient with diabetic neuropathy, according to

recent research.

The full research report of  “Massage Therapy May Improve Mobility and Reduce Incidence of Neuropathic Ulceration in Patients with Diabetes,” ran in the print edition of MASSAGE Magazine's May 2008 issue.
