Massage therapy is effective in reducing hand pain and increasing grip strength, according to a study conducted by the Touch Research Institutes (TRI) at the University of Miami School

of Medicine in Miami, Florida.

The full research report of  “Massage Reduces Hand Arthritis Pain and Increases Grip Strength,” ran in the print edition of MASSAGE Magazine's February 2007 issue.
