Watch Out for New "Fingerprint" Scam

At least one massage association is warning its members about a new scam targeting health-care professionals.

According to an email bulletin sent out by the Florida State Massage Therapy Association, some health-care professionals

have received telephone calls informing them they need to submit a new set of fingerprints—and a credit card number as well.
