The International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork/Association of Canine Water Therapy, is scheduling its 7th Annual IAAMB Educational Conference - webinar, Friday through Sunday, April 9-11, 2010 in Toledo, OH.

The IAAMB, an organization based in Toledo, OH, has over 500 members. Members practice animal massage, animal exercise physiology, animal rehabilitation, animal chiropractics, animal acupressure, water massage, nutrition, herbal supplements, essential oils, music therapy, Reiki, healing touch, and much more. Members live throughout the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, Asia, India and Australia. They work in veterinary hospitals, hotel spa's, animal day cares, kennels, dog training facilities, zoos, race tracks, AKC shows, and canine agility and flyball competitions. Most of the members also provide animal massage and bodywork in private practice.

The Friday April 9 activities will include hands-on demonstrations of canine, equine and feline massage.

The Saturday April 10 conference activities offers expert from all over the US. There will be presentations on Canine Trigger Point Therapy, Tellington TTouch®, Traditional Chinese Medicine for animals, Equine massage, Canine Water Massage, and Knowing your Pet’s Health: the Five Components of Optimal Wellness. The Saturday conference activities will also be presented as a webinar, with live viewing and discussion groups in Toledo.

On Sunday, April 11, the IAAMB is delighted to host Thom Somes, The Pet Safety Guy, who is traveling to Toledo from Carlsbad, California, to teach his 8-hour certification workshop on Canine pet safety: PetTech CPR, First Aid and Care for Your Pets. This is training that can enhance the work of everyone who works with animals.
