COMMERCE, Mich., March 25, 2010 —LaVida Massage, a Commerce, Michigan-based massage and wellness center, has announced the grand opening of a new LaVida location in Lake Orion, Michigan.

Owned by Clarkston resident Stephanie Parenti, the new LaVida will feature nine massage rooms, including five individual rooms, two couples rooms and two facial rooms, each one distinctively decorated to provide a calming and therapeutic experience for guests. The center will offer a variety of service options, including Artisan custom facials, Jet Peel Rejuvenation and Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone and corporate massages by certified massage therapists.

With a business-oriented background, Parenti was inspired to open the center to offer her own community valuable services at reasonable prices. As a loyal massage customer herself, Parenti saw a perfect opportunity to open a business that she already enjoyed and had the aspects of health and wellness integrated into the company philosophy. Additionally, Parenti was inspired by LaVida’s Michigan roots believing strongly in investing in the local economy.
