The events, which will be held at the BIOTONE corporate training center in San Diego, California, provide an opportunity for participants to earn National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) continuing education credits.

Spa Body Treatments Workshop

On June 12 and 13, BIOTONE offers its Spa Body Treatments Workshop. The two-day course provides hands on learning and a step-by-step approach to new body treatment services suitable for wet or dry room application. The workshop includes marketing tips to help you successfully launch the new services to add incremental revenue, giving you the potential to work fewer hours with less demand on your body.

Among the marketing tips are: how to turn a massage room into a spa; give and receive an aromatherapy wrap; back, cellulite and foot treatment using BIOTONE unique dry room products; give the finishing touch with a personalized massage treatment;

Summer Fun Open House

As part of the BIOTONE 2010 Spa Open House series, the free Summer Fun Open House on June 14 provides day spa owners, massage therapists and private practitioners an opportunity to network and find out about new treatments, menu ideas–Summer Swimsuit Wrap Up, Pre-Tan Preparation and Tropical Face Massage–and marketing tips.
