Cortiva Institute Acquires Arizona
Massage Campuses

A national education company has added two more campuses to its family of massage schools.

Cortiva Institute announced the purchase of the Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College, with locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale, this week.

Cortiva also owns the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts, in Tucson, as well as 10 other massage schools in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, Arizona and Massachusetts,

"All Cortiva schools share the core values of integrity, quality, holism and compassion—and a commitment to offer students career alternatives in clinics, hospitals, health clubs, spas, resorts, sport therapy clinics or in private practice," stated a Cortiva press release. "By concentrating on the special values of the wellness profession, Cortiva aims to produce graduates with philosophies that integrate one's personal and professional life, and provide a fuller, more enriching experience."

"I've spent the past 15 years in this field, and I am always honored and inspired as I watch students grow during their educational program, graduate with confidence and begin sharing their gifts through touch," said Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College President C.G. Funk. "By blending the Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College history and knowledge with the compassionate vision and community of Cortiva, the possibilities are endless, and we are all excited about the future."
