Cortiva Adds CE Program

Cortiva Institute’s students—as well as certified massage therapists and health-care practitioners—can enhance their skills through Cortiva’s new Continuing Education (CE) program. The CE program, is available at the education company's schools in New Jersey, Arizona, Colorado, Washington and Florida.

“The Cortiva CE program is a milestone for us that we are extremely proud of,” said Diane Trieste, vice president of employer and alumni relations, in a company press release. “It’s quite exciting to open the door to massage therapists trained elsewhere.”

The four new courses encourage therapists to create a more specialized practice. They are:

• Maternity and Infant Massage (200 hours)
• Therapeutic Massage in Athletics (200 hours)
• Thai Yoga Massage (200 hours)
• A nutrition course based on the teachings of Andrew Weil, M.D.’s book Eating Well for Optimum Health. (68 hours)
