Massage & Bodywork Scholarships

There are 4 scholarships that are for students of massage and bodywork.

1 American Specialty Health offers 12 scholarships for students pursuing careers in various aspects of complementary health and is open to students of massage therapy. For directions on how to apply and to download the application visit their Web site.

2 The Massage Therapy Foundation has revised their scholarship program. It is now a Student Case Report Contest for current massage students. This contest, with school support, fosters an opportunity for students to develop research skills by conducting their own research case study in which they summarize the results in the format of a professional research paper. Cash and publication recognition will be awarded to students submitting the top reports.

3 Bastyr University offers three $1,500 scholarships to students attending Bastyr and seeking a degree in one of the three degrees: 

• Bachelor of Science in Natural Health Sciences, Major in Exercise Science and Wellness
• Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
• Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

4 The Spa Foundation offers scholarships in amounts up to $9,000 to individuals who are seeking a career in the spa arena. The number of scholarships offered and the amount of each scholarship is all dependent on donations to the foundation. The Spa Foundation is continuously accepting applications.

2. Do a search on the INTERNET.

3. Visit your PUBLIC LIBRARY. Your librarian is a wealth of information and resources.
