De La Terre SkincareASHEVILLE, N.C. – De La Terre Skincare is proud to announce a new partnership with the Ocular Melanoma Foundation (OMF). The goal of this new affiliation is to bring more awareness to the supportive benefits of De La Terre Skincare products for cancer patients, while raising money to support the investment in the mission and vision of OMF.

The OMF was established in 2003 by Robert Allen, M.D., a renowned Virginia eye surgeon who was diagnosed with ocular melanoma and, in 2005, succumbed to the disease. OMF is a nonprofit association, which has the mission to accelerate and enhance scientific research, advocacy and awareness of ocular melanoma and to provide education and support to patients, their families and health care professionals.

Now an online destination for ocular melanoma information, OMF works hard to support patients and eye cancer research until there is a cure. Among its many education and research initiatives, OMF created a patient forum dedicated to ocular melanoma, hosts the annual Eye Am Not Alone patient retreat series, and leads innovative programs such as the Travel Assistance Grant program.

De La Terre Skincare® is currently in several hospitals and wellness centers, where it has been accepted and approved to address skin changes related to medical conditions including cancer, autoimmune diseases and diabetes. This area of care is the focus for the next chapter in addressing cancer patients’ overall needs, and De La Terre Skincare is excited to be at the forefront of holistic skin care. Anne C. Willis, CEO, has a 30-year history of designing protocols for clinical medical settings and through this experience, she has acquired a keen insight for formulating skin care preparations that provide immediate recovery for deficient, neglected and traumatized skin.

A significant amount of support for this new affiliate will come when consumers and patients purchase De La Terre Skincare products through the Ocular Melanoma Foundation’s website. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated back to the respective affiliate.

Donations can be made by purchasing products directly through the Ocular Melanoma Foundation’s website (ocularmelanoma.org/de-la-terre.htm).
