The scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student who has completed at least one year of college and is seeking a spa-related degree with a demonstrated interest in spa management. The recipient, who will be announced in May, will receive $2,500 to offset his or her education expenses, along with registration, airfare and hotel accommodations to attend the ISPA Conference and Expo or ISPA Asia-Pacific Conference. To be eligible, students must have at least a 2.75 GPA and submit their applications by March 1.
The scholarship is part of the ISPA Foundation’s endowment fund, which aims to provide a permanent resource for the growth and sustainability of the spa industry. To download an application for the Mary Tabacchi Scholarship or make a donation to the endowment fund, visit www.experienceispa.com.
