Tracy Walton featured as keynote speaker
Framingham, MA. The 30th Annual AMTA New England Regional Conference (NERC), hosted by the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association, is honored to have Tracy Walton as the keynote speaker at its conference. Walton is a researcher, writer, award-winning educator, oncology massage specialist and a dynamic voice for the power of touch. She is the author of the pathology textbook, Medical Conditions and Massage Therapy. Walton appears in the film Touch, Caring, and Cancer, an inspiring massage instruction program for caregivers. In 2003, AMTA named Walton the Teacher of the Year.

The New England Regional Conference will be held March 14 through March 17. Registered attendees are eligible for up to 15 continuing education hours. Attendees and visitors are invited to peruse the convention hall with 35 exhibitors showcasing exclusive products and techniques. The exhibit hall is open Friday evening through Sunday morning to the general public. Exhibitors will provide special offers on professional supplies and an opportunity for visitors to learn more about industry products and promotions, and mingle with massage therapy professionals. There is no cost to visit the convention hall.
The AMTA New England Regional Conference has enjoyed 29 years of providing a quality educational and professional development experience to massage therapy professionals from the northeast. The multiday event features educational sessions, an exhibit area of more than 35 suppliers of massage therapy-related products and services, networking opportunities through a welcome reception sponsored by Massage Envy, raffles, door prizes and a dinner dance closing the program featuring the upbeat six-piece dance band, Charisma.
