Dr. Steven Nagy pulled teeth in New Jersey for 26 years before his back stopped him. All that time standing over
patients—not to mention playing baseball into his 40s—may have forced the dentist, now in his 50s, into an early
retirement. But it hasn’t quieted his desire to provide medical care. That’s why Nagy, a Mashpee resident, opened
Elements Therapeutic Massage on Long Pond Road in Plymouth last month.
A longtime athlete, Nagy said he’s been getting massages periodically to relax and soothe sports injuries for
many years, but it wasn’t until his back problems intensified that he saw the medical component to it.
