Greensboro, NC- Adriane Witcher, owner of Balance Day Spa, was recently selected as one of the 2008 Triad Women Extraordinaire by Business Leader magazine.

“What a year this has been and what an honor to receive this recognition at the end of the year,” says Adriane.  Adriane was nominated by one of her employees and was very surprised to hear the news of her win.  “I have been so fortunate to receive two great awards this year,” says Adriane as she refers to Balance Day Spa being voted the “Best Day Spa” in the Triad by goTriad for the second year in a row.  Adriane’s profile is featured in the December issue of Business Leader magazine and she was honored at an awards luncheon at The Embassy Suites on December 5th.

Since purchasing Balance Day Spa in 2005, Adriane has dedicated herself to promoting relaxation and wellness while making it possible for thousands to enjoy the inner rewards of outer restoration.  “I want to help clients maintain balance even when they’re not at the spa,” says Adriane.

So far this year in the Greensboro day spa alone, Balance has served more the twenty-five thousand clients; a number they are proud to watch grow every year.

With the addition of two new locations in the Triad (Kernersville, opened 9/8/07 and Burlington, opened 2/2/08), Balance now encompasses a total of 15,000 square feet, forty treatment rooms, more than seventy different treatments and services, and over 60 employees.  Needless to say, there is something for everyone and every budget, because Adriane firmly believes that Every Body Needs Balance.
