Internationally-acclaimed massage therapist educator shares instructional techniques

Framingham, MA- Feb. 21, 2012 – The New Hampshire Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association has announced that the 29th AMTA New England Regional Conference (NERC) will feature Ralph Stephens, the highly acclaimed, internationally recognized and recent inductee in the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame, as its keynote presenter on March 17.

Educational sessions begin March 15 and conclude March 18 at the Sheraton Framingham, Rt.9, in Framingham, Massachusetts.  Stephens, who is scheduled to retire in the coming year, will also present workshops throughout the weekend.

Stephens says, “I am pleased to share my wealth of lifelong experience with the folks from the Northeast. It’s been a while since I have visited this conference. This has always been one of the top massage meetings of the year and I am thrilled to be a part of its success!”

The multiday conference also features local, national and international presenters as they share their knowledge and experience in an intimate conference environment. More than 22 courses will be offered, including multipart sessions in Breema, geriatrics, neuromuscular, fibromyalgia, medical massage and multi-modality.

The AMTA New England Regional Conference has enjoyed 28 years of providing a quality educational and professional development experience to massage therapy professionals working in throughout the northeast. The multiday event features educational sessions, an exhibit area of more than 30 suppliers of massage therapy-related products and services, networking opportunities through a welcome reception hosted in the exhibit area, raffles, door prizes and a dinner dance closing the program featuring Groove Authority, a seven piece dance band.
