The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) has announced its 2011 Proposed Position Statements.
Members may read and comment on the statements, which are on the topics of depression, tension headaches, exercise, anxiety, fibromyalgia and licensure.
AMTA delegates to the association’s annual National Convention will consider the proposed position statements.
“All members are encouraged to read and post their comments on these proposals,” notes a statement on AMTA’s website (www.amtamassage.org). “Your comments will be provided to the delegates before they meet to discuss the proposals. Position statements approved by the House of Delegates immediately become official views of the association.”
