The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) has opened registration for its national convention at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida, Sept. 23-26, 2009. The convention will include opportunities for more than 20 hours of continuing education, information about current research on the efficacy of massage, association business meetings and a tradeshow of more than 100 exhibitors, according to an AMTA press release.
Keynote speaker Tony Burroughs, author and co-founder of Intenders of the Highest Good, will discuss how to augment massage therapy business skills.  His focus will be on setting a daily direction for intentions to bring a greater level of success into massage therapists’ work environments, as he shares success stories on how the intending process has inspired and changed lives.
