Aritizen’s Touch Receives Honor of the People’s Choice Telly Award in New York City, MASSAGE MagazineJuly 21, 2010 (Atlanta, GA) The Art of Massage film, created by Artizen’s Touch, was honored at the 31st annual Telly ceremony in New York City for winning the People’s Choice Award. The film is designed to teach people more about the benefits of the art of massage and to create enthusiasm and interest for the overall healing art. The DVD was produced in two formats: one to train massage therapists and the other for consumers.

Adrian and Leona Carr, owners of Artizen’s Touch, as well as Kyle Tekiela, a multiple award-winning producer and editor, partnered to develop the award-winning film. Tekiela’s promotional work has been broadcast nationally on major television networks and his documentary productions have garnered numerous accolades.

The Art of Massage was filmed on site in Jasmine Gardens in 2009 in Montgomery, Alabama, and it is one of the most meaningful films ever made in the health and wellness category. The film is used as a tool to train massage professionals, schools and the general public.

When you consider that Telly entrants submit only their very best work, as well as the extremely high number of entrants, earning a Telly Award is a significant creative achievement. For its 31st season, The Telly Awards joined forces with YouTube to give the public the power to view and rate videos submitted as part of the first ever People’s Telly Awards. Now, in addition to recognition from the Silver Telly Council, the judging panel that selects Telly Award winners, the Internet community helped decide this year’s People’s Telly Award Winners.
