Nathan Nordstrom LMT BCTMB BS is the Senior Director of Training and Industry Relations at Hand & Stone Franchise Corp., where he supports the industry by writing policies, protocols, and procedures. He is an avid volunteer in the massage profession and its many supporting boards (American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), the Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF) and the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA)). He is currently serving on the board of directors of the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE). He specializes in teaching the practice of ethics and communication for massage therapists in their daily life. He has been educating massage therapists since 2004 and is a nationally recognized continuing education provider. Nordstrom has been awarded over 20 years of practice, allowing him to work in many amazing settings. From sports massage, high-end resort, clinics, outcall, and a hospital, he has been fortunate to assist a very diverse clientele. He has been published and quoted in several industry trade magazines and is working on his first book.
