BIOTONE, a manufacturer of massage-and-spa products, has donated $5,000 to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program.

In announcing the company’s support for the American Cancer Society event, BIOTONE president and founder Jean Shea said, in a company press release, “Among the many causes we support, the fight against breast cancer has been paramount for us.

“Over the years, BIOTONE has sponsored important research about the value of massage to help fight cancer cells and raised money through promotions to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure,” Shea, who is on MASSAGE Magazine‘s editorial advisory board, continued. “We continue our dedication to help win the battle against this devastating disease through our participation in the American Cancer Society’s inspirational event.”
