Now this is something new: A massage being introduced at Bliss Spas in New York and Hoboken seems far from relaxing to me—clients get massaged while listening to tunes by Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, and U2.
The massage, appropriately called the “Rhythm and Bliss Massage” goes against the grid with the notion that there’s one specific soundtrack for relaxation. For the massage, clients will choose one of four musical play-lists, wear bluetooth headphones to block out noises in the halls, and listen to the tunes while being massaged by one of the spa’s famed masseuses.
