Gainesville, Florida– Vincent Cambrea has announced the opening of the Cambrea Institute under his direction in Gainesville, Florida. Since 2007, Cambrea’s signature program has been IMAP training: “Integrative Massage and Personal Training,” a personal training program for professional massage therapists.
Over the years, as the reputation of IMAP training grew, so did demand. Eventually, the program outgrew its home gym, Go Primal Fitness and Training Institute. Now, with the opening of the Cambrea Institute, students enjoy a separate facility with a large private classroom, gym and reading room with library.
The Cambrea Institute also has a new relationship with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), the most prestigious personal training certification program in the nation. With the integration of the IMAP and NASM curricula, IMAP trainers are now invited to sit for the NASM certification exam and can complete their course of study with tandem certifications that place them in high demand in the fitness industry.
The institute now offers an expanded schedule for education and continuing education for massage therapists and personal trainers. Students enjoy specialized curricula in four tracks. The first track is IMAP Training. The second track is Orthopedic and Sports Massage. The third track is the “Beyond Series,” mini-courses on specific anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and related modalities that affect human performance. And finally, the institute directs general courses of interest and continuing education for licensed massage therapists, NASM personal trainers and athletes.
The Cambrea Institute is located in Magnolia Parke at 4620-B Northwest 39th Avenue in Gainesville. For more information about the Cambrea Institute and a full calendar of courses including IMAP training, go to www.cambreainstitute.com or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
