Georgian College’s Barrie campus, in Ontario, CA, recently announced it would be expanding to include a $65 million health and wellness building that will incorporate massage therapy among other things, The Orillia Packet & Times reports.

Aside from massage therapy, the new building will offer social work, pharmaceutical services, diabetes/respiratory care, and physiotherapy.

The new building is anticipated to increase enrollment by nearly 3,000 students. Currently, the college already enrolls 8,000 students, and another 2,500 who are enrolled in university programs. Construction is scheduled to be completed by 2011. (Cruickshank, The Orillia Packet & Times, 10/9)
