4.28.2010, Birmingham, Alabama—Clayton College of Natural Health (CCNH) has announced its status as an approved provider of continuing education (CE) hours for the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB).
Nationally certified practitioners are required to recertify every four years and continuing education plays a critical role in NCBTMB’s recertification process. The NCBTMB has approved 19 CCNH courses across five disciplines including holistic nutrition, natural health and wellness, natural sciences, companion animal studies and iridology. Completion of any one of the approved courses provides 45 CE hours. NCBTMB practitioners who choose to earn CEs with CCNH will have access to courses that are designed by some of the leading educators in natural health, holistic nutrition, herbal studies and practitioner development. They will also have access to the full range of student services provided by CCNH, including access to student networks and research databases including Natural Standard and MEDLINE with Full Text.
NCBTMB credentials assure a higher level of professional commitment for clients, employers, other professionals and the general public. For more information on how to improve performance as a massage therapist by integrating natural health practices, contact CCNH at www.ccnh.edu/ncbtmb.
