Cortiva Institute, MASSAGE Magazine team to launch continuing education resource center

June 16, 2008 — MASSAGE Magazine announced today that it has teamed with Cortiva Institute, a provider of professional massage therapy training, to launch a new resource center: Continuing Education, at www.MASSAGEmag.com/Cortiva. Tailored to the needs of the massage therapist, this resource center provides news, information, and tools for success with massage continuing education.

In this online resource center, massage therapists can read articles on how to get the most from their continuing education, view the latest offerings in continuing education courses, and join a community of massage practitioners and experts in an open exchange of ideas. For example, readers can use the comment platform on every article, allowing them to communicate with other readers as well as the MASSAGE editorial team.

Other features include a video and image gallery, a job portal, live chat with Cortiva representative, and a refer-a-friend thank you program with a selection of gifts. In 2008, site visitors will also find streaming videos, blogs, and research to support massage therapists in their use of continuing education.

“The Continuing education resource center is a great resource for MASSAGEmag.com’s 45,000 unique monthly visitors. This special section expands MASSAGEmag.com’s timeless library of articles and adds a new dimension to the site with extra reader interactivity,” said Amy Mitchell, MASSAGE Magazine online editor.

“We are pleased to be hosting the Cortiva Institute Continuing Education Resource Center,” said Manuel Lirio, MASSAGE Magazine vice president of Web operations. “As one of the leading massage therapy education providers, Cortiva Institute is uniquely qualified to inform MASSAGEmag.com Web site visitors about the various continuing education options available today.”
