In a boost for massage students planning on a sports-massage specialty, students at Cortiva Institutes’ King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, campus now provide massage therapy to the Philadelphia Union major league soccer team.

“Working with a professional sports team is a unique opportunity, and so for our students, especially for those interested in working in the area of sports massage, this is an amazing experience,” said Jeff Mann, president of Cortiva Institute King of Prussia campus.

Students interested in volunteering their skills to the Philadelphia Union submitted an essay as part of their application, with four students selected.

Cortiva Institute is a community of Massage Therapy Schools with 12 locations nationwide.
