MINNEAPOLIS, April 6 /PRNewswire/ — Minneapolis-based rehabilitation and resource center Courage Center celebrates World Watsu Week by offering free 20-minute introductory sessions, April 19-24. The sessions are for those who have not previously experienced Watsu or Aquatic Bodywork.
Watsu is a gentle form of aquatic bodywork therapy performed in warm water. It combines elements of massage, joint mobilization, muscle stretching and dance. The deeply relaxing effects of warm water and nurturing support, combined with movements, stretches, massage and point work, creates therapeutic benefits and potential healing on several levels.
