Day Spa Association Releases 2nd Annual Spa and Wellness Retail Survey Analysis, MASSAGE MagazineMinneapolis, MN. The Day Spa Association has released its 2nd Annual Spa and Wellness Retail Survey.

As our industry has moved from day spas to medical spas to wellness facilities, the importance of retail has grown exponentially. Retail performance has always been an indicator of what’s going on in the spa and wellness industry. In tracking how customers are spending their money, spa business owners are able to strategize how they can add to, or modify, how they are running the retail side of their operations. The Spa and Wellness Retail Survey offers a wealth of information in that regard, shedding light on how businesses across that nation are operating their retail.

The retail survey came about from questions brought to the Day Spa Association from businesses and practitioners within the industry. Mainly, businesses were looking for assistance in finding the right lines to carry, how to merchandize better or which trade shows were best to find retail. There was overwhelming response from across the U.S. The 2nd Annual Spa & Wellness Retail Survey can be downloaded from the Day Spa Association website, along with a free membership to the association, at www.dayspaassociation.com.
