Massage therapy students have until June 1 to submit their applications for the Massage Therapy Foundation’s (MTF) Student Case Report Contest. (Also note, students submitting a report must do so prior to their graduation date.)
The MTF’s mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of massage therapy by supporting scientific research, education and community service.
The MTF “has offered Case Report Contests since 2006 as a way to provide an opportunity for massage and bodywork practitioners and students to develop research skills and enhance their ability to provide evidence informed massage to the public,” the MTF’s website notes. “Cash prizes are available to the winners of each contest. Prizes are contingent on publication of the case report.”
In mid-May, the MTF posted to its website a complimentary, five-part “Writing for Case Report” webinar series.
