Skin care essentials to be distributed via the American Red Cross

Dermalogica Supports Oklahoma Disaster Recovery, MASSAGE Magazine

In support of efforts made by the American Red Cross to aid and support the communities devastated by the recent tornado in Oklahoma, as well as relief workers who are involved in the ongoing rescue and recovery, Dermalogica has donated Dermalogica sun protection products to prevent sunburn during exposure to the elements.

The American Red Cross will distribute the products to families affected by the tornado, as well as to some of the 300 Red Cross disaster workers and 1,000 volunteers who are helping to clear debris and provide food, clothing and other essential services to survivors.

The products being distributed are from Dermalogica’s Daily Defense and Solar Defense line, which block UV damage using chemical and physical sun block ingredients. The Red Cross is planning immediate distribution of these products, reaching out to some of the estimated 10,000 people directly impacted by the 1.3 mile-wide tornado that ripped through Moore, in the southern part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
