HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Sept. 28, 2010 – National massage-therapy franchisor Elements Therapeutic Massage Inc. sponsored the Teachers’ Networking Luncheon at the 2010 American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, held Sept. 22 to 25.
This is the second year Elements has sponsored the luncheon, which honored the Teacher of the Year, Melissa Wheeler from the National Holistic Institute, located in Emeryville, California.
The national franchisor was represented by top executives including Kyle Gjersee, chief operating officer, Michele Merhib, founder, and Laurie Windler, director of franchise support.
“ATMA is the only massage national conference held annually and attending allows us the opportunity to learn about any new trends in the massage industry and connect with massage educators and vendors,” said Merhib. “We are constantly seeking to expand our knowledge of the industry and provide our franchise owners with the most up-to-date information for use in their studios.”
The conference allowed the Elements team to participate in educational workshops, association business meetings and trade-show events. During the conference, attendees had the opportunity to meet with companies offering professional information, products and services for massage therapists.
