REHABILITATIVE MASSAGE TECHNIQUES teaches all health care professionals and trainers how to recognize, assess and treat common soft tissue injuries. In this course the student will learn physical assessment techniques including; posture assessment, range of motion, muscle tests and other structural integrity tests. This course will teach the body’s response to injury, how tissues heal and massage therapies role in the healing process. Students will learn a variety of remedial massage techniques to treat common soft tissue dysfunctions. Muscle energy techniques, positional release, structural integration and other neuromuscular techniques will be utilized to treat regional and specific conditions.
