How about learning to use your Ashiatsu bars to deliver some Thai style stretches? Ashiatsu Stretch is a class training offered by the Barefoot Master® to do just that! Facilitated stretching has shown fabulous results for years. Although the stretches have eastern roots, it is primarily western-based. Using the overhead or floor bars makes this type of bodywork effortless! There is no need for prior Ashiatsu experience. Imagine, no more bending over at the waist and risking injury to your own body for some big, full body stretches!
This technique is excellent to add to your current Ashiatsu protocol. Or use it as a stand-alone service. Clients can stay fully dressed while you work your magic. The seminar is a complete sequence of stretches. Also, it uses compression work designed to help relieve pain!

What you need to bring to class:
One-sheet and one-face cradle cover
Please come with pedicured feet or wear socks.
For the therapists, comfort wears loose clothing. Yoga capris or pants work best; if you wear yoga pants, we’ll roll the pant legs up to the knee. Men find basketball shorts or sweatpants to be most appropriate. Also, the student needs to please bring drinks and snacks. We provide water. During class, we will break for a short lunch.

To overhead or floor, Barefoot Bars are for balance and support. You do not have to have a lot of upper body strength to perform Ashiatsu stretch. Furthermore, there are no height or weight restrictions. The massage table must sustain both the weight of the client and the therapist.
