Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a gentle manual technique that is highly effective for reducing the swelling and associated pain that is typical of many acute and chronic conditions. MLD works by dramatically enhancing lymph formation and promoting drainage within the lymph vascular network.
The Vodder Technique of MLD taught in this class can improve the outcome for clients with rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, post-surgical edema, soft-tissue injuries, migraine headaches, whiplash, anxiety disorders, tinnitus, and more!
Prior to the start of this engaging 5½-day course, you will have the option of watching an online video lecture filled with graphics on the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system. A&P will also be covered in class followed by the fundamental MLD treatment sequences plus indications and contraindications for MLD. In addition, you will learn how to address mild, medically-uncomplicated upper and lower-extremity lymphedema. The majority of the course is hands on.
The MLD Certification instructors are all highly-qualified, experienced practitioners with a wealth of professional experience to convey to their students. They are also very personable and patient.
This course and its instructors are overwhelmingly rated 5 out of 5 by the therapists who complete the course. It is not unusual to get feedback that “This is the best continuing education course I have ever taken!”
